Penguatan Penerimaan Diri pada Anak yang Ditinggal Orang Tua Merantau

Penerimaan diri merupakan kemampuan seseorang untuk menerima kondisi diri dan pengalaman hidup yang dimilikinya. Individu yang ditinggal orang tua merantau sering mengalami perasaan sedih, kesepian, rindu, dan munculnya pikiran negatif terhadap dirinya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penerimaan diri melalui konseling kelompok dengan teknik ABCDE dalam pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). Kegiatan melibatkan tiga peserta dewasa awal yang memiliki pengalaman ditinggal orang tua merantau. Proses konseling dilakukan melalui tahapan Activating Event (A), Belief (B), Consequence (C), Disputing (D), dan Effect (E). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami hubungan antara pengalaman yang dialami, keyakinan yang dimiliki, dan emosi yang muncul. Setelah mengikuti konseling, peserta menunjukkan perubahan cara pandang yang lebih positif, lebih memahami alasan orang tua merantau, serta memiliki penerimaan diri yang lebih baik. Dengan demikian, konseling kelompok teknik ABCDE dalam pendekatan REBT dapat membantu meningkatkan penerimaan diri pada individu yang memiliki pengalaman ditinggal orang tua merantau.
