Abstract

Hubungan emosional yang positif antara guru dan siswa berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, nyaman, dan mendukung perkembangan sosial-emosional peserta didik. Hasil observasi dan wawancara awal di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Al-Fatah menunjukkan masih terdapat siswa yang kurang memperhatikan guru, kurang berani menyampaikan pendapat, kurang menunjukkan rasa percaya kepada guru, serta belum terjalin komunikasi dua arah dan hubungan emosional yang optimal. Di sisi lain, guru belum pernah memperoleh pelatihan khusus mengenai cara membangun attachment dengan siswa. Tujuan: Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam membangun hubungan emosional positif dan secure attachment dengan siswa. Metode: Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui program peningkatan attachment yang terdiri atas materi Child Care: Pemenuhan Kasih Sayang Siswa, Hierarchy of Needs dalam memahami karakteristik siswa, dan Conditioning Positive Loving, Caring, Educating sebagai pilar Secure Attachment. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, refleksi, simulasi (role play), dan latihan penerapan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil: Pelaksanaan program memberikan pengalaman kepada guru untuk memahami kebutuhan emosional siswa serta mempraktikkan strategi komunikasi, perhatian, kepedulian, dan pendekatan positif dalam interaksi dengan siswa. Kesimpulan: Program peningkatan attachment merupakan kegiatan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan guru dan permasalahan yang ditemukan di lapangan serta dapat menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas hubungan emosional antara guru dan siswa di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Al-Fatah.
