Mpa'a Raja: Pembelajaran Berpikir Komputasional Berbasis Budaya Lokal Dompu

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi transformasi permainan tradisional Mpa'a Raja sebagai media pembelajaran berpikir komputasional pada mata pelajaran Coding dan Kecerdasan Artifisial serta menganalisis kontribusinya terhadap pemahaman peserta didik pada aspek decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, dan algorithm melalui pengalaman belajar secara langsung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods dengan desain convergent parallel design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Dompu dengan subjek sebanyak 96 peserta didik kelas VII yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui scenario-based Computational Thinking Test, sedangkan data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, observasi aktivitas peserta didik, angket respons, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan statistik deskriptif, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis melalui model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña, kemudian diintegrasikan melalui triangulasi metode. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, implementasi pembelajaran berbasis permainan tradisional Mpa'a Raja terlaksana dengan kategori sangat baik, ditandai oleh tingginya keterlaksanaan sintaks pembelajaran dan aktivitas peserta didik. Kemampuan berpikir komputasional peserta didik juga menunjukkan capaian pada kategori baik hingga sangat baik pada seluruh indikator, yaitu decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, dan algorithm. Selain itu, peserta didik memberikan respons yang sangat positif terhadap pembelajaran karena mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menarik, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa transformasi permainan tradisional Mpa'a Raja berpotensi menjadi inovasi pembelajaran yang mendukung pengembangan kemampuan berpikir komputasional sekaligus mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21.
