Hubungan Kepatuhan Pencatatan Makanan via FatSecret Dengan Perubahan Komposisi Tubuh pada Anggota Fitness Center

Digital dietary self-monitoring has become an increasingly practical approach to supporting weight management, particularly among individuals who participate in fitness activities. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between adherence to food recording through the FatSecret application and changes in body weight among fitness center members. The study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. Participants were instructed to record all food and beverage intake through FatSecret for four weeks after receiving brief training on food weighing and digital food logging. Body weight was measured before and after the intervention, while adherence was assessed based on the percentage of completed food logs. The research design included descriptive analysis and correlation analysis to examine the relationship between recording adherence and weight change. Based on the simulated data in the research design involving 10 respondents, the average adherence to food logging was 87.3%, while the average weight loss was 2.76 kg over four weeks. The simulated data indicated a strong positive relationship between adherence and the magnitude of weight loss. These findings suggest that consistent digital dietary self-monitoring may support weight management among fitness center members. However, the results remain preliminary because the available data are simulated and body composition indicators were not comprehensively measured.
