Adaptasi Budaya Kerja Expatriate Indonesia dalam Lingkungan Kerja Jepang sebagai Kaigo

Fenomena penuaan penduduk di Jepang menyebabkan meningkatnya kebutuhan tenaga kerja pada sektor perawatan lansia (kaigo), sehingga membuka peluang besar bagi pekerja migran Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses navigasi budaya yang dilakukan pekerja migran Indonesia sebagai kaigo di Jepang selama masa awal adaptasi kerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode wawancara mendalam terhadap seorang pekerja migran Indonesia di Jepang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa informan melakukan berbagai strategi adaptasi budaya seperti meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan manajemen waktu, mengembangkan cara berkomunikasi untuk mengatasi hambatan bahasa, serta mempertahankan identitas budaya dan religiusitas di tengah informan bekerja. Selain itu keberhasilan adaptasi juga dipengaruhi oleh dukungan lingkungan kerja, pengalaman langsung, dan support system personal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa fleksibilitas budaya dan kemampuan menyesuaikan diri menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan adaptasi pekerja migran di lingkungan kerja Jepang.
