Peran Green Supply Chain Management sebagai Mediator antara Lean Operations dan Kinerja Operasional pada UMKM Makanan dan Minuman di Kota Manado

Sektor usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) makanan dan minuman di Indonesia memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap output ekonomi nasional, namun secara bersamaan menghasilkan limbah operasional dalam jumlah yang signifikan, sehingga mendorong kebutuhan mendesak terhadap kerangka manajemen operasi yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini mengkaji peran mediasi Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) dalam hubungan antara Lean Operations dan Kinerja Operasional pada UMKM makanan dan minuman di Kota Manado, Sulawesi Utara, Indonesia, yaitu konteks yang ditandai oleh pertumbuhan sektor kuliner yang pesat di tengah krisis pengelolaan sampah perkotaan yang kritis. Dengan menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif eksplanatif, data dikumpulkan dari 101 pemilik dan manajer UMKM melalui kuesioner terstruktur berskala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) melalui SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lean Operations memberikan pengaruh positif yang sangat kuat terhadap adopsi GSCM (beta = 0,717; t = 14,956; p < 0,001), dan GSCM secara signifikan meningkatkan Kinerja Operasional (beta = 0,382; t = 3,821; p < 0,001). GSCM berfungsi sebagai mediator parsial komplementer dalam hubungan lean dan kinerja (efek tidak langsung beta = 0,274; VAF = 34,4%), dengan model struktural menjelaskan 70,4% varians Kinerja Operasional. Temuan-temuan ini memvalidasi secara empiris hierarki kapabilitas pollution prevention dan product stewardship dari Natural Resource-Based View dalam konteks UMKM, menegaskan bahwa transisi dari lean menuju green dapat diaktifkan oleh motif efisiensi berbasis pasar, serta memberikan resolusi kontekstual terhadap perdebatan yang sedang berlangsung mengenai efek mediasi GSCM.
